Plugs wet and no fire..
2000 Ranger ext cab without the SOHV, I suspect the coil pack bad but strange thing that happened the engine light came on when it starting running rough so we pulled into autozone to use the odb meter and he said it wont communicate and I had used my buddies 2 weeks earlier when I had a misfire in No 4 plug. Could there be some other eletrical problem I am missing and I am checking voltages at coil pack today. When I changed the plugs first thing thry were totally wet and didn't look good at all. Lots of fuel but obviously no spark at thr pug??
Any help would greatlt be appreciated. Thanks

Before we get too involved , did you check all the fuses? Does the engine start at all?
Were you able to confirm that you are getting a signal from the crank sensor?
Check the connections to the PCM. Are you sure you are getting no spark?
If you are getting spark and it isn't timed correctly the engine will not start or will run poorly. Will wait for your replies.
