Default Rattle and noise in my Ranger????

I recently bought a 2000 model Ranger. I have noticed that when you take off from a dead stop it seems to make a knocking feeling and I can somewhat here it it think. It may be that I feel it and just think I here it, if that makes sense. Andyway, it seems to do it to when I come to a stop and can somewhat feel it going down the road. I have tried to look around and see if I see anything obvious but no luck yet. Do you guys have any suggestions? Coil spring front suspension if that helps. Also it makes a noise when I go over a speed bump. It's like you can here the coil springs compressing. Never heard this on any other trucks though. Maybe I need to start replacing some bushings or something?

I assume you have an extended cab..........There is a know issue with the trucks that have steel drive shafts and a binding issue at the slip yoke. It does not seem to be a major issue and the solution seems to be cleaning and re-greasing the slip yoke. Check the web for Ranger drive shaft noise and you should find a lot of info.
