Stereo Removal

Ford uses a spring system to hold their radios in. You need a $5 tool (from any parts store) its a set of two "U" shaped tools with knitting needle looking ends, they fit into the four holes on either side of the radio- push them, in pull them away from eachother slightly and the radio comes out with little effort.
A junk yard might have a replacement OEM ford radio that will plug right in for as little as $10- Good luck!
Oh do a search for
" Scosche Dt1 Radio Removal Tool (Din) "
