Default ABS help please!

Hey everyone!
I’ve got a 2005 Sport Trac. It’s in great condition and runs well. However, for the past several months, there’s been something going on with the abs. There is no check engine light and no abs light on the dash, and the regular braking system works fine. Sometimes when I come to a stop, it feels like the abs engages, just after I apply the brake, and it sort of “ vibrates” to a stop, the way abs feels. It doesn’t do it every time, but it does do it more than not. One mechanic ( who really didn’t check it out) suggested it might need an new abs computer? Which is apparently a big repair? I’ve had others suggest the possibility of a fuse? Sensor? Oil/grease/dirt/rust/other buildup either blocking a sensor from properly working ( or not working), or even possibly the same with the regular brakes? Removing tires and cleaning up any debri, then seeing if it solves the problem? Any suggestions, advice, feedback would be greatly appreciated. I’m planning to sell the truck, but not without knowing what the issue is ( and hopefully fixing it, if it’s not a huge problem). Thanks! Jen

Possibly you have at least 2 options,
Tell the prospective buyer of the occasional problem, Or have the vehicle checked , problem determined and repaired.

Sometimes a wheel bearing problem can cause this.
