Does anyone know what would would be causing this? On my 2004 Ford Taurus the passenger side window will go down but not come back up. I hooked thewindow motor up to the battery and got the window rolled up, so the motor works. But I tried the switch on the drivers door and it wouldn't roll up the passenger window either only down. All the other windows and switches work. Is there a relay that affect just the up action of the passenger window?

No. You more than likely have a switch problem. If the passenger switch works properly and it will not work on the mastwer switch, more than likely the master switch is bad.

 

Sorry I probably didn't explain it very well.Neither switches works to roll the window up.

 

Probably the master switch as it is the ground for both switches.
