I have a 1998 Ford Taurus Stationwagon whose front left-hand window is not working properly. I was hoping someone could tell me how to dismantle it so I could get at the motor.

*I just wanted to add that the main problem is that the window is stuck down inside the door and I cannot get at the motor.

I just had to repair all of my window motors in my 1990 Ford Taurus. From 1986-1995 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable have the same motors. After that I think the motors may change. But the basics of the power window repair should be the same. Go down to Autozone or similar and look at a manual for your car might help. I had trouble finding good documentation on the web to do my repairs. So actually this is my first post in this forum in order to contribute something back to the help that I did get from the Internet.
