1999 Ford taurus dont want to kick over
I have a 1999 for tauus while driving one day on the highway it just shut down. Would not start back up again..Had to have it towed home.
It feels like it wants to start, you crank it and it cranks slowly like it is not getting enough power and than dies..
Things I have done and changed....

Things I have done and changed....
- Replaced timing chain It is dtc
- Replaced the crankshaft position sensor
- Sprayed into the intake manifold
- New battery
- checked the spark plugs good, and cleaned them up just in case
- replaced the iginition coil
- Did a test from on the iginitoon coil getting spark there..
- but when doing a test on the spark plug itself little spark .. and the spark plugs have gas on them.
- fuel pump turns on I can hear it
- compression is good
- unplugged the O2 sensor and nothing
- Spark plug wires replaced

Just replaced the camshaft position sensor and all new spark plugs and nothing! Ugh please help need to get this car back on the road asap... Starting a new job on wednesday and really dont have the $$$$ to take it to the shop ..

Since you managed to replace the timing chain is it safe to assume you have the timing marks on the crank and cam gear lined up correctly or did you wing it?
If you have fuel, which it appears you do, and you have GOOD spark which we're not sure of, it should start ,,,,,,,,,,unless the spark and fuel timing are not synchronized.
Did you remove the cam sensor housing when you replaced the sensor? If so, you need a special tool to set the sensor timing or the engine will not start.
Before going any further need the answers.

i changed the camshaft senser ,the crankshaft sensor,the coil pack ,plugs and wires,and the timing chain,and i did line the marks up on the gears at top dead center,but now im wondering if i might have not the cam sproket at the right marks,you know how the top sprocket might have to be rotated one more time or what,i know it sounds a little wierd but hope you know what im talking about,like if i need to spin one of the sprokets another turn to line back up
