Default '93 sedan-electrical gremlin

i have a '93 non-sho sedan, 96,000 miles, recently my wife told me it did funny things when hitting the brake pedal to kick off the cruise control, turns out it wont, but thats not what concerns me, upon further checking, the car has no brake lights, no turn signals and the 4-way emergency flashers dont work either. the fuses are good and everything else is working. im suspecting a ground issue but am not sure where to look exactly. any ideas or similar experences?

Most likely the multifunction switch on the steering column. That is the common link between the items you mentioned
