95 Taurus input speed sensor location?

Default 95 Taurus input speed sensor location?

Any idea of the location of the input speed sensor?

Thanks in advance for any & all help.. sinc. Joe

It is located on the driver's side of the trans just above the half shaft going out to the wheel. It bolts to the trans with one bolt. If you are planning to replace it , tighten it to only 80-106 inch pounds. It is also called the turbine speed sensor, if that is what you are looking for.

That's the one! and the source of all the troubles. Thanks for that added info hank cause I would not have known about the torq. specs.

Hank is there a gear on this sensor that I should possibly think about changing also?
