Default 97 Ford Taurus Hot Air Problems

Hello Everyone. My car is getting hot engine air coming in while driving even though the vents of set to off. The heat is coming from below the dash. I checked the vacuum and the hoses are intact. During the quiet of the night I did a test and I could hear the vacuum opening and closing. Also, there seem to be no difference between the speed of the A/C and MAX A/C selection. I've been searching all over to find a solution to this. Can someone point me to a resolution? Since I just bought it I would like to do the repairs myself. Y'know, I'm low on the fundage. Thanks.

Read this and go to the 'vacuum actuators motors' hope it helps. My guess is the fresh air door actuator leaks (max a/c).
