Default front end noise

I recently purchased a 99 Sable with 70k miles (little old lady car). The only problem I have with it is a squaking noise from the passenger front area and only when turning the steering wheel to the right. Any usuall suspects for this problem or do I just start replacing suspension parts? Also, I don't see any lube fittings on the front end, so no way to lube the tie rod ends, etc.

Thanks,
VesMcD

that sounds like a bad strut you can raise the hood put your hand on the strut tower an have someone turn the wheel an you can feel it or push up an down an hear it pop or grind but the rubber boot on top of the strut will make that sound i would replace both struts at the same time

I'm going with the ball joint on that side. My buddy had the same symptoms (only turning to the left), was a bad ball joint.

Good luck and let us know!

Another point to check , have someone turn the steering wheel in the direction to make the squeak/groan and feel the tie rod end on that side, if that's the origin of the noise you will be able to feel it.
