I'm puzzled
I purchased a 1999 Ford Taurus SE Sedan today(atleast that's what the dealership said it was)and today I was looking on the internet at other 1999 Taurus's and come to find out my car looks nothing like a 1999 model. My car has the two signal lights in with the headlights. On a 1999 the signal lights are seperate from the headlights. I've checked the VIN and had a Carfax done on it and it shows it's a 1999 Ford Taurus. Okay, I'm dumb founded by this. Was their a mess up somewhere. By the way, the manual that was in the glove compartment was a 2003 manual and I found a inspection slip and it was wrote out as a 2003 Ford Taurus SE. I'm going Monday to a Ford dealership to find out exactly what model year I really have. Anyone have any opinions on this.

RE: I'm puzzled
My insurance company ran the VIN through Carfax and it came back as a 1999 Ford Taurus SE. Only a two owner, never wrecked or any other damage. But after we checked the owners manual and the pink inspection paper we noticed it was showing as a 2003 Ford Taurus SE. So I done a google search on the body style of a 1999 and a 2003 and the body stly my car had was of a 2003. Also, I went to a Ford dealership and they confirmed that the car was a 2003, not a 1999. I have took the car back to the original dealership where I bought it from and cancelled the deal and got my other car back. I suspect the car's VIN was tampered with. No explanation was given
by the dealer.
