My 1999 Ford Taurus SE Wagon would just crank and not turn over occasionally after the engine got to operating temperature.

Ford could not diagnose it because the problem never occured with their equipment hooked up to it.


I believe it was on this website that suggested what the problem may be. I cannot locate the thread so I am just here to give testimonial that in fact:


Remove and Replace fuel pump cured all ills.

I also R & R'ed the fuel filter.


Always starts now.

 

SOMETIMES COMMON SENSE CAN GET ALOT MORE DONE THAN USING A MACHINE TO DIAGNOSE A PROBLEM.
