I have 1991 Ford Taurus Sho with and auto climate control that does not turn off. The display stays lighted after removing the key. This is killing the battery in the car after a few hours. Does the climate control have a computer in it? Where can I purchase a new one? And how do I get the thing out of the car....

I am not sure if your car has a GEM module, but the newer ones, as well as the trucks do. This might be a concern if it does. We have had a few that went bad and caused some strange electrical issues. See if there is a fuse in your owners book that is tied to the GEM module, and pull it, then see if the controls turn off. Might check for a battery saver relay that is stuck in the on position.
