Default Decoding a VIN?

Can anyone please tell me how to decode the VIN number on my car? I just purchased this old 1960 T-Bird from this sweet lil old lady. She said she couldn't tell me anything about the car other than it was her husbands car before he passed on. I found out the car had been parked in an old barn since 1991. I was wondering what parts of the vin determan the engine size etc.. The VIN is as follows: OY71Y176267. I looked under the hoos and looked for a sticker or something that would tell the engine size. Other than looking quite large, I also noticed that it has a 4-bbl carb if that tells anyone anything because I know a lot of fords came with a 2-bbl.

Thank You,
Don
