Hello to all, I have a 1988 T-bird sport LX with 302. I replace the lifters in it I had one bad one also I found out that it's is a rolling lifter. Well here is my problem, now I have a rattling sound coming from both banks, I did prime lifters before instanding them. Need some help before opening motor again. Thnaks to all Roman

All lifters run at different heights and some may require different length pushrods to operate properly. But there could be more trouble there. How many miles are on the engine?

You should have replced the roller lifter with another roller lifter - right?

well at the time I posted my problem the motor had only 2500 miles on it . I went back ad found my problem i did not adjust the the rocker arm right Iwas in a rush to completed it. I should have replaced the lifter at the time rebild the motor
