Default STALL ON TAKEOFF

I have a 1993 t-bird, v-6. fuel-injection.

If I'm at a stop light and press the pedal to fast, the car stall.
if the car start rolling, I can floor it.

any idea

I guess my first question would be when was the last time you had a fuel filter replaced ??? , does the check eng come on , or is on ?

I had the fuel system was check out. I was told it could be a warn throat body.

Is there a hidden fuel filter?

Need a new fuel filter, is always a good idea.
I was thinking:
throttle postion sensor, but seen them cause a cold engine no start..so maybe...
forget it, need to have it hooked up to a OBD scanner, [:-] sorry

also a wear throttle body would cause the idle speed to increase

yea , you know how sometimes you pull off those old fuel filters an they feel like they weigh about 5 pounds .,,, I had one the filter was so restricted if you matted the pedal to the floor the car would cough an die , car had like 175000 miles , I swear looked like the factory filter

Filter is usually right inline in the fuel line near the gas tank and under the back of the car. Depressurize the system before you go to change it though.

I took my FF off blew it out and it tasted like water,replaced it, a week later a similarproblem,
I redid the procedure this time saving the 2nd FF to let it dry out.......running fine,
