Default 04 Explorer ABS/4X4 problem

I am trying to find a solution to a problem that developed on 2004 Ford Explorer. I was on dry pavement coming to a stop at a traffic light. The brake pedal started pulsing likethe ABS system was engaged and then the ABS light on the dash came on and does not go out and the ABS system doe not act like it is working now. Also the 4X4 High light started flashing and then went out when I started accelerating. The 4X4 High light now flickers on and off(This is occuring when 4X4 Auto is selected). Then when I get wheel slip four wheel auto is not engaging. Both problems started at the same moment. Has anyoneencountered this problem?Any help or tips are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not 100% sure your Exporer has them but check the rear tone rings. It will if it has traction control but I'm not sure if it only has 4x4 auto. It does sound like a tone ring or sensor issue thou.
