Default 1997 Thunderbird Questions

New to this forum. Just purchased a 1997 Thunderbird with V8 for my 16 yr old daughter for 1500. Took a ton of convincing to not buy a foreign 'model'. Car is the Limited Edition in very good condition. No rust, dents, etc. 160,000 miles. Runs real well. Just had brakes done, tranny 'relubed'. May need tuneup but not yet. My question is what Mustang wheels fit this car. Looking for the Bullitt style. She wants some expensive chrome aftermarket but I think these wheels would look much better. Also looking for interior pieces for console and dash. The plastic dash pieces no longer fit and rattle and center console a bit beat up and console door coming apart. Also any engine dress up items. After tune up is Flow Master exhaust system. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is first Ford in family since my '69 Torino.

Thanks, Mike

Default RE: 1997 Thunderbird Questions

I have the same t-bird and found out the the bolt pattern was different for my 97 than the mustang. But I did buy some nice wheels for mine. Just not the big selection of wheels that the mustang has. Flowmaster and K&N are nice additions.
