Thumbs down 2000 Ford Windstar Problems

Ok so heres whats going on in a nutshell... I have had this van for about two weeks now. I changed the plugs and wires on the van and it started running really bad only when it was idling. I replaced the egr valve, the dpfe, the intake and plentum gaskets, the "choke" box and rods, put fuel injector cleaner in the tank and still have codes that say its running lean/rich... Check engine light is on. it still sputters when its idling (in drive and reverse too) like it wants to jump forward and i have to double foot the brake when im at a light. What else could be wrong with it? Someone told me there could be a vacuum leak but i do not know where to look since this is my first van/ford... Please help!

Please check the following:
1. Since you have taken the intake manifold apart you have removed a bunch of vacuum lines. You may have forgotten to put one of them back on. The one on the passenger side towards the firewall is easy to overlook. Listen for a hissing sound.
2. You replaced the pugs and wires. Did you also replace the coil pack? If not, just do it.
3. You replaced a bunch of gaskets related to the intake manifold. Did you also replace the Isolator Bolt Grommets?
4. Go to a parts store and have them read the code for you, free of charge.

Report back with the code(s), the actual number(s).

It is possibly the cause of the trouble. The coil pack contains 6 high voltage ignition coils, embedded in epoxy. At some point the epoxy fails and lets the voltage jump internally to ground or to another tower.
A new coil pack is about $70.00. If the van has done average miles is t should be at about 140K. If the coilpack is the original one it is most certainly kaput.

I am getting the impression that you throw parts at the vehicle. It is less expensive to do proper diagnostics.

But: what is the CEL code?!!!? We must know.
