351 cleveland won't start after tune-up
I have a 1969 351 cleveland that starting knocking on acceleration. I replaced the plugs (same plugs motorcraft asf42c) but old ones were gapped at 045 and bookk calls for 035 so I gapped at that. I did 1-4 cylinders plugs and wires and was going to move the car out of the sun to do the other side and it won't start. I pulled the new and put back the old and notta. I finished the whole tune-up, plugs wires dist. cap.rotor, points and condensor and even bought a new coil but nothing. When I pulled the new plugs the first time the 3 and 4 plugs had alot of gas but when I tried to start I gave it gas after awhile thinking it may not be getting any.Firing order according to book is 13726548 but I have also tried the 302 order 154..... Do you think the carb could be lealing internally or coula these wire need some strange firing order. I bought this for my son and thought I was doing him a favor now I get to take him to and from work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
