Does anyone know where I can find the balancer woodruff key for a 428. They seem to be rare. Thanks Don cardad@charter.net

Can you supply the dimensions (approx) ? 1/4 in -5/16 in wide , straight design or half- moon design ?
Some auto stores carry various woodruff keys as the half-moon designs are called.
You have to excuse me for not knowing exactly which type are used, but we should be able to help locate one..

NAPA and Advance sell assortments that run for under $20 . . You should be able to use one out of the assortment.

 

Thanks I checked all my local builders and parts stores, some off these younger kids don"t even know what I am talking about or what a FE 428 is, so when I came home yesterday, I came to the same conclusion as I read in your reply this morning. Simple to make and would have saved a lot of time and driving around. Thanks Don
