i got a 93 wagon 3.0, old man i got it from said it ran great till one day after work it wouldnt start,(it wud turn over). 2 days later he tried it n it worked ,he drove home n parked it. 2 years later I got it. I noticed at times it would runidle rough,n wud die unless i kept it reved and put in nuetral when stopping. most of the time it runs great. Ive had it a month and it ran real crappy to work the other day, so at lunch I went out and started lookin at it .I dropped th interior fuse box down n looked around ,.didnt c nothing wrong but did notice the alarm wires and box laying loose, and i saw a buttn near the door like the button that shuts the light when u close the door. i pressed it n now the car wont start. and it wont turn over unless i hold that button down but there is no fire. fuel pump is working.; I have a sable (94) runs but bad transmission for parts but dont have a clue wat it could b or where to start, I replaced coil but nada,anyone who is familiar with this or with a good possible maybe of what it cud be Id really be thankfull for your help, i just got a job after period of no work and really need this car to be running, thank you very much for your time and help

 

What happens if you take the button out and tie the two wires together?

 

it turns over but no fireto plugs or to coil
