Default 94 Escort Hesitating

I have a 94 Escort LX Wagon 1.9L it hasover 166,000 miles and did not have any problems until about 160,000 miles. The problem with my car is that it seems to starve for fuel, usually around 2,000 RPM and cruising around 55-65 MPH. These problems are usually magnified when going uphill, andduring accelerationafter slowing down from highway speeds. The car will start hesitating and sometimes it feels as if it will almost stall until I floor it. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, PCV valve, and all the fluids are properly maintained. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

First qestion...........Have you replaced the O2 sensor (in the last 60K)?? If not I would start with it. Second try Lucas Oil fuel system cleaner it can help clean things up and keep them clean (and you get a big bottle, enough for 5 or 6 times at the price of the highend injection cleaners). Finally, I would get my hands on a service manual and a good digital multimeter and run a resistance check on the TPS (throttle position sensor) the specs are in the service manual.

The O2 sensor has not been replaced, I will replace it. I have been using Valvoline SynPower fuel system cleaner at every oil change, but I'll try the Lucas. I do have a service manual so I'll check out the TPS. Thanks!!!
