Old model 95 wagon, looks and runs great! Only problem is a floppy gear shifter. Have to use e-brake to park it, and flop it into neutral to start it. What is the part called that is broken? How much does this thing cost? What am I looking at here in fixing this thing?

 

Well, first off would be dissassembling the steering column to see if maybe the linkage is loose or something is missing...it could also be somewhere else in the linkage...personally, unless you're real handy I'd consider having someone look at it...these things can be finiky and may end up worse...

 

Iam shooting fer worn bushings in the linkage .( we need a basket ball hoop smiley !!! )
