98 ford f150 wont start

Default 98 ford f150 wont start
98 f150 wont start. wife was backing up stalled it. wont start. tried new battery, by passing neutral safety switch, redirecting ground. no luck so far. After it was stalled (standard shift) the truck makes a "dunk" noice when you try turning it over. Any ideas?
