ABS Fuse blowing

ABS Fuse blowing
I have a problem with my ABS fuse blowing in the inside fuse box, Fuse #12 on a (1997 - F150). It started on Tuesday, I was trying to leave work and after I started the Truck the ABS light was blinking, and the truck wouldn't go into gear/out of park (auto transmission). So I mopved a fuse from a another spot to get me to the service station on Cherry Point (USMC). I replaced the fuse and no problems until this AM. After starting the truck ntoiced the same problem, so I turned off the truck and moved the same fuse again. this time the fuse blew-out right in front of me.
Can someone give me an idea where to start T-shooting.
Thanks,
Scott

RE: ABS Fuse blowing
Did the fuse blow when the truck wasn't running the last time you replaced it? If so, that seems odd. I don't think there is supposed to be a charge there while the truck is off. You could measure that with a voltage meter and call a dealer or shop of some sort to ask them about what you find. If you know someone with a code reader, it may tell you what is happening.
