Default advance track problem- 06 expedition

I have a 2006 Expedition. While towing a 4000lb camper after an hour, the temperature will go to max and then cut out the engine, You pull off and turn the key off and it will go back to normal temp. It does this about every 20 min and you have to repeat the same as above.

I don't know if they're related or not but about a month ago the Advance Track light started to come on. You can start the engine-put it in drive and it won't move for a couple of minutes. it also will run fine pulling out of the driveway and then the car won't move. The engine runs fine, tranny doesn't slip, you just have to wait until it decides to go. Again, the advance track indicator light comes on.

I've read where some suggest it's an alternator issue, a sensor on wheel, brake pads need replaced... etc...etc...etc.

Does anyone have a clue what my problem may be ??
