Anti Theft PAT system key programming
Hello:
Is it true that only a Ford Dealership can reprogram my original key? The anti theft device is blinking and the truck will not start. Thank any reply is ahelp.

Can you provide us with addl info like year and model vehicle. Different years and models have a different system and it is important to know this info.
A local locksmith with the proper equipment can handle programming keys and the PATS. Before you can program any new keys yourself you must have two working keys to do this.
Are you sure the "no start condition" is caused by the anti-theft system?
Some systems will crank over and not fire up to run and some will not even crank over at all.
