Default Bulb socket terminals

The spring loaded terminal had rusted out in one of my reverse light sockets and I was wondering if you can buy just the terminal inserts for them. I have tried to look around online but I haven't found any and I'm just not sure exactly what they would be called. I know you can replace the entire socket but I just wanted to see if they were available. It's an 84 F150. Thanks.

Some auto supply stores may be able to help you out with this. Usually if not too far away a salvage yard has loads of them and all you need to do is cut the wires and remove the terminal contacts with the fiber insulator and install them in your light socket. Two blue (14-16 gauge wire) shrink butt connectors will help you handle that job easily. Note; the other side is probably waiting it's turn so, good idea to consider both sides at the same time or expect something not too far up the road.
