Buying a 2004 Ford Econovan Manual
Hey all,
I’ve been wanting to get a van for a while now and have finally gotten to a point where I’m able to buy one, yay! I’m very new to vans so I’m needing a little advice. I’ve test driven a 2004 Ford Econovan, 1.8L petrol 5speed manual with 262000kms on the clock. Rego until 6/2021. The seller has recently got a New radiator, New thermostat, New alternator belt ×2, 4 new tyres, Full service 3k ago. It’s also fully set up for camping/living with Foam mattress, 2 Long draws 1m heavy-duty (1kitchen), Solar system + dual battery system, New AGM deep cycle battery 120AH, Awning 2.5m, 12v led lights, fridge, fan, TV, Closet, Full camping equipment!!
It’s priced at $8500 neg
If anyone has any info or knows of any mechanical issues I should be aware of or anything I would love to hear about them.
As it’s my first vans after years of dreaming of one I would love some advice!
Cheers Te-Arne
