Default dashboard clicks

My wife's Focus is doing something odd. Everytime She starts it up the dashboard lights flash and clicks. It is in the pattern of 30 clicks 3 times then stops. Has anyone heard of this? Does it mean anything? Please if anyone knows anything. HELP!!!!

What year and engine size? If it is OBD II compliant, a hgh end scan tool will read trouble codes from the GEM module. There is a way to test the cluster, but we need year and engine size to find the proper test.

I looked in the manual and can not find that series of clicks, or any other clicking for that matter. You may need tohave it diagnosed by a tech with a scan tool that can read the GEM and instrument cluster. A bi-directional tool would be really good for this. The problem there is most techs do not have that tool. It is usually a dealer tool. Some independant shops may have one, it is just a matter of finding one. Sorry I could not offer any more help.
