"door ajar" light???

Default "door ajar" light???

recently i purchaced a 2001 F250 4x4 4 door cc with 72,000 miles...a few days ago when all 4 doors were opened to leave an ice fishing trip the door ajar light stayed on after all being closed!!! now 3 days later after opening and closing all 4 it will not go off...any help here??? where are the sensors for these??? thanks for any help!!!

Sensors are mounted in/on the door latches.. They mount on the underside of the latch and the pins tend to collect debris and stick.. You can try using some silicone spray ect and spray the latches concentrating on the lower portion of the latch in the jamb.. Open/close the doors and a lot of times the switch will come loose.. Stay away from penetrants since they tend to wash out quickly..

thanks!! i'll give them a squirt and see what happens...

Would agree with other post. try light lube and frequent movement of switch. good luck
