Door Panels
OK, I know this is a stupid question. How the H#$% do you remove the interior door panels on a 2003 F-250 SD 6.0. In the ild days this used to be simple so I assumed I could use my trim removal tool and pop them loose for the bottom up. Apparently the Engineers in michigan found a better way to put them on that I'm not aware of. Just don't want to break anything to find out how they come off. Regards, ALK

RE: Door Panels
Welcome to the site..
Actually your not going to believe how easy they are to remove..
1. Remove the mirror attachment access trim cover (small black cover) on the forward/top portion of the door panel/frame.. Just give it a good even pull straight out..
2. If power windows,, grab the 'front portion' of the master control panel and lift it straight up slightly, (it snaps down)then slide it foward to clear the rear tab. Unclip the wiring connections.. There is a bolt/screw in the opening attaching the panel there..
3. If manual windows,, there will be a smaller cover where the master panel normally would have been.. Same to remove, and get to the screw.. But,, you'll need to remove the window crank.. Grab the 'wide end' of the window crank cover and pull it out and swing it away.. There is a torx screw to remove the crank..
4. On the lower portion of the door panels there's a red reflector.. You'll see a small opening to insert a screw driver.. 'Carefully' insert the driver and push it just slightly way from the reflector to release the tab.. Too far,, and you'll break off the tab.. There is another attaching screw there..
5. 'LIFT' the door panel straight up to clear the locating legs.. Don Not pull it away until they clear or you can snap them off..
