Just bought new Ford Galaxy MPV with rear DVD system, problem is system will only run when ignition is on but engine is not running. When I start teh engine the DVD goes off??. Unit was factory fitted BUT I have no operator manual for DVD. Any ideas do I need to change any settings, thanks

 

turn your engine on then apply your park brake. see if it still works. i know that when you install an aftermarket one that the driver may be able to see its supposed to only work when the parking brake is on. (not sure who installed your or where it is located).
