Default EL falcon. just changed diff, got problem

Hey,

Just pulled out my old diff which was buggerd, and slapped in one i bought.

The problem is that its shakes like ****, from about 0-50km it shakes and is good when it gets past there. When i put my foot down hard on take off, she goes sweet as drives like a charm, take my foot off and shaking. One thing that has changed is the gear ratio from
3.08:1 to 3.23:1

Could really use some advice.

Cheers evryone

Scott

Gear ratio change won't cause your problem. Sounds more like bad U-Joint(s) or lost a counter weight off of the drive shaft. Double check the U-Joints and look for any spots that may look like a counter weight was spot welded on.

Bad/used lube would normally cause no noticable issue unless it's a posi-trac (it would normally groan on turns telling you to change the lube). No lube would end up causing a siezure which you would definately know bu not moving.
