Last night i went out to move my 98 expedition, but for some reason i left the keys in the ignition after i was done (Never done this before). I remember looking back at the car, and no lights were on, so the battery couldnt have been drained. I came out this morning and tried to start the car. Nothing happened. No clicks, wont turn over, power locks dont work, lights dont work. nothing in the car electrically works. Im almost positive its not the battery, becuase if it was i would atleast be able to unlock the doors or turn on the lights. plus i just got a breand new battery about 2 months ago. Any suggestions?[/align]

 

Well the next step would for sure be to 'jump start' the truck..

But,, the battery saver relayremoves 'extended' interior lamp ect. power drains from the battery anyway. Or should.. The GEM will keep power available for the interior lights and under hood lamp circuits for up to 40 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off. A system draw test might be in order if the reason for the battery replacement 2 months ago wasn't for a battery at the end of its service life..Was it original to the vehicle? Any add on equipment, and/or hard wired to the batt...
