Default F150 locksmith help

I have an ’01 F150.. And I’ve had issues with its doors before, but never one like this. I did nothing but drive out in the rain. When I locked it and tried to take the key out, it just won’t come out. My friend suggested calling a locksmith.. should I do that?

Welcome to the site..

Try using some liquid Lock-Ease or Silicone spray etc., WD 40 if that's all you have, or even a lite oil, and put a rag around the lock. Spray the lockset liberally and work the key in/out and see if it will work free. Could be hung up from a dry condition. Avoid spray grease's or any heavier bodied spray that will attract dirt and tend to make a mess. Moisture displacement lubes and penetrants like WD tend to not offer any real long term results..

WD40 may harm the lock.. graphite grease is better. a locksmith could solve your problem (gonna cost you though)
