focus GEM module?

focus GEM module?
2004 ford focus oil light stays on even with key out of ignition. brake lamp flickers , at times. mysterious dome lamp problems. car does not have power door locks or power windows. does it still have a gem module? 'could this be a possibility? what functions does the GEM control? thanks
