Fuel pressure test 05 five hundred

If the engine turns over and you have fuel pressure the most logical next place would be to check for spark.
For some reason I am unable to pull up wiring diagrams for a 2005 but here are some for a 2007.
It is a two wire coil, when it acts up I would unplug one of them and check if you have voltage spikes occurring between the two pins while someone cranks the engine.

Hi. I apologize that took so long to reply. It’s my sons car so I have finally had a chance to test it out this morning. After failed to start, I test voltage with unplug connector on CDF(Red and Orange/Yellow), it spiked up to around 3v when it crank but it could start engine. I was wondering how much voltage on CDD(Red and Light green/Yellow) under normal circumstances, and spiked up to around 7v.

Yes. The test was done right after it didn’t start. However during the test, while measuring voltage, it started... So I’m not sure how I can measure when it’s not started. Is it ok to crank it many time with unplugged one of the coil till not started?

Suppose we try a few things.
With the key on, do you have 12 volts at any/all red wires of any coil ? You should have.
The PCM will provide the ground for the coil at the correct time when cranking or running to fire the coil and provide the spark for the plug.
What you can do is remove the coil and spark plug from the easiest for you to remove.. Is the plug wet or dry?
