Greetings! Question
New to the forum. Looks good!
My question is... How can I find out what the part number to this attached picture is? Its my 2002 Explorer the piece that goes from one end to the other. In the picture most of that piece if broken off, need to replace, but I think having part number would make it easier to find, order or get. Thanks in advance for your help!

From my days in the dealership, That piece was only availible with the liftgate glass, as they were manufactured together; I believe they were moulded together. You might investigate it a bit and see if the aftermarket has any solutions.

$147.00 from Ford.
Go to Official Ford Parts Site | Buy Motorcraft & OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com and put in part number "402A30". It will bring up the Rear Body Panel Applique. However, it doesn't include the FORD emblem.
If you put your VIN in, the system will bring up everything related to your specific vehicle build.
I've been using the site for a couple of years now for pricing OEM items verses aftermarket.
When looking for the part pricing, check a few dealers around in your area via the "Fordparts" web page. You may find lower pricing a one Dealer over another. I just bought a mirror for my Freestar for $10 less from 1 local Dealership compaired to a few others.

Hahah I know this post is 2 years old but I finally replaced the part. I bought it on Amazon, its a Dorman brand and it already came painted, so just had to pry the rest of the old one off then glue the new one on. I think I did a pretty good job. To bad it didnt come with the emblem but I paid just under $100 so no complaints. Anyone know if the emblem comes in other colors or just the standard Ford one. I've seen the regular ones online from $25-$35 but I'd be willing to pay a little more for an emblem that looks a little different and also fits within the Ford oval indent where its suppose to go.
