Help Decoding 429
I have a 429 that I need help decoding. The Block casting # is D0VE A, and the heads are D3VE A2A. It was rebuilt about 3 years ago and never run and has been in dry storage. Could this be a CobraJet? Is it a decent motor? What is it worth? No intake or carb or valve covers but does have oil pan. is it a 2 or 4 bolt main? I want to thow it on Ebay but would like to know more. Thank You.....

It's 4 bolt drilled/main, although it may not have 4 bolt caps..
Heads are nothing special, low flow, large chamber, smaller port units.. Think they were used from 73-79..
If there a CJ casting in the engine valley?
If the bottom end is complete, original rotating pieces, its worth a few bucks...

Maybe a Cobrajet
Thanks Hayapower...Yes it does have CJ casted on the top of the motor valley. The only number I see on the crank itself is stamped 51540 (not raised like the CJ casting) Is it a Cobrajet? It has been entirely rebuilt by a professional shop but has just been in storage. Has oil pan, pump, gasket set. No intake, carb or valve covers....How much should I ask for it if it is a cobrajet....Thank you for your time........
