Default Hey you guys

Howdy, 1991 motorhome with a 460. Real oil gauge installed. Oil (15-40 with some lucas) and filter changed. Good and hot, oil pressure will drop to about 9 at it's lowest at idle. Over 20 when revved up.
Is this OK? If not, what should I have.
Thank you.

Before doing anything, what if you double checked the reading with a different gauge ?
Any unusual engine noises like valve noise due to lack of oil?

No Noise. It's a new mechanical gauge. I feel it's working ok. The sending unit sucked.

Because this could get into a lot of $$$ and work,it would be a good move to double check the gauge . New stuff comes in faulty too !
