Default Moving to TDC with Balancer nut off

Hello,

I'm at a point in my project where I need to remove my harmonic balancer. I'm changing the timing chain.

I need to get the engine to TDC. How can I move the engine to TDC with the bolt to the balancer off? Also, to get the bolt off, the engine moves away from TDC.

I'm looking for TDC to be able to line up my sprockets for the timing chain correctly when installing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Never mind my question.

I got the timing sprockets and chain changed. I didn't know there was a notch to guide everything in so I didn't have to worry about getting everything to TDC.
