Default Need of Some Help

I have a 2002 Ford Mustang with a 3.8L engine and its beeen spittn and sputtering so I took it to the parts place to have it diagosised and it said misfire on cylinder #5 and to check spark plugs, spark plug wires, and coil. It also came up with another code that said to check the crank sensor.
I changed the spark plugs and no luck, I changed the wires and it started running worse and wont even start now. I changed the crank sensor and that didn't help either. Anyone know the answer to my problem? Please help?

Do you remember the exact code numbers? There may be 4 or 5 codes for the same sensor. Each code is to check something different in the circuit. Not to question your ability, but are you sure the wires are in the correct location? I have seen many techs cross wires and pull their hair out.
