Neutral safety wire

Default Neutral safety wire

Does anybody know where the neutral safety wire is located inside the cab of a 2001 f150 regular cab

Before saying it is not there, what are you doing that you need that wire?

I’m installing a aftermarket cruise control to it

I haven't installed an aftermarket cruise control kit and I would like to know what they use that particular wire for.

You can find the neutral position wire at the transmission since it is used for permitting the vehicle to start only when in park or neutral.

Maybe I'm missing something.
