Hey guys ive been chasing a heater prob around and ran out of options. I have a 2007 E-250 van, and the blower fan stopped working months ago. Picked up another at the junk yard, put it in, and still nothing.

Tested the wires going to it (while running) and no power. Changed out the heater resister beside the blower under the hood and still nothing. Dont know where to go next and any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you checked the fuses and relays?

Does it have a blower relay? if so swap some relays in your box and see if that does it.

 

One of the first things I would do is to apply voltage and ground to either of the motors and see if they run. If so,then check if there is any power at the blower motor switch, coming in and going out when turned on. Usually , there is a separate relay for hi speed and since you have neither hi or any other speed I would suspect the blower motor switch or the function switch (vent, A/C, floor, def etc.). You did check all the fuses ?

 

At this point I say get a new one. Even if you fix it, it will get bad again..
