Per mechanic correct oil damage bearing and shaft
Have a 04 expedition xlt 150k 4.6 with texently rebuilt engine under warrnaty. Which had to take back to shop when check guage light went on. turns out was low oil pressure only when car at stops signs with foot on brake. After a week at the shop mechanic state recommned oil x20 caused the issue and to begin using x30 instead. They replace bearing which had dammage and shaft. After being rebuilt have used less than 2k miles ok it. Believe this is BS but has anyone else ever heard of this?

Which bearing(s)/shaft was replaced?
Who's oil pump was used for the rebuilt engine? Was it a NEW pump or your old worn original pump used? After the repair, was the oil pressure verified with a mechanical pressure gauge thru the entire RPM range?
