powersteering box leaking

Default powersteering box leaking

i have a 88 towncar and the powersteering box is leaking on bottom at the pitman arm shaft. can the seal on this be changed has any one done this your help would be appreciatd. [&o]

yes you can change the seal but when you buy the new seal you have to get the whole rebuilt kit. Take the pitman arm of there is a dust seal then the main seal use a small screw, screw it in the MIDDLE of the seal in the metal a few threads use sidecutters and pry it of to install find a deap socket that will fit over the splines, this will be you seal installer.
