Thanks Hayapower! They have installed chassis ears which first led them to the front sway bar bushings.
So far they have replaced the front sway bar bushings which didn't fix it. They did the chassis ears again and now they are saying they ordered new rear leaf springs, bushings and u-joints. Unfortunately the parts are on Nation Back Order, which makes me wonder if this problem is more widespread. I'm beginning to wonder what the Lemon Laws are for Ohio and how I go about pursuing that course if the new parts do not fix the issue.

Seems to be well documented on the net.
Thats not u-joints..
Can you physically apply load to compress/ release the rear suspension and if so,, any noise?
Or front, but most of the complaints on the net are rear

Actually, I just tried your suggestion and if I stand in the rear corner of the bed on the driver side, it is reproducible. Doesn't seem to happen on the other side. Do you think that the leaf spring, bushing and u-joint will fix the problem? Any idea if they have redesigned these parts? As I mentioned, I have been told that they are on National Back Order with no estimated availability date. Thanks so much again Hayapower! You have been extraordinarily helpful! Very kind of you.

Maybe with a helper you could better ID the noise specific location..
Seems the info on the net covers shocks, to spring stacks and...
But if this coveres a wide range of years, or VINs, usually there will be a TSB, or SSM released by Ford in regards to affected builds....
If this was happening to a broad number of builds, seems it has, when the servicing dealer called engineering they would have been advised of the updated parts, or service procedure/s etc.
